Filming Beacon House at Clarendon Dock for CBRE

Most of the homes we film for in Northern Ireland are exactly that, homes. Beacon House was a different brief. CBRE NI asked us to produce a commercial video tour of the building at 27 Clarendon Road, down in Clarendon Dock on the Belfast waterfront, alongside a set of photographs to sit next to the film on the CBRE listing.

Commercial space needs a different read to a family home. A buyer or a tenant is weighing floor plates, light, access and the quality of the address, so the job is to show the building working in its setting rather than to dress a kitchen. Clarendon Dock gives you plenty to work with: water on the doorstep, the city behind, and that clean dockside light that makes a modern building look its best.

Ben handled the drone footage, as he always does, lifting the building out of its surroundings and placing it against the dock and the wider city. That aerial work matters on a commercial address, where location and connectivity are half the pitch.

It is a useful reminder that the same studio that films coastal villas also shoots commercial stock right across Belfast and the suburbs.
