Marketing Coastal & Country Homes Around Strangford Lough

The Ards Peninsula and the shores of Strangford Lough hold a particular kind of home. Elevated country properties looking out over the water, contemporary builds set in acres rather than plots, loughshore houses at Greyabbey and Killinchy where the view is the whole point. These are not homes a buyer chooses from a floor plan. They choose them from the setting, and that means the marketing has to put the setting front and centre.

Phantom is a Belfast property marketing studio, and a good share of our work sits out here around Comber, Newtownards and the lough. The pattern is consistent: the further a home gets from the city, the more its position, its land and its outlook do the selling. A flat interior shot will never carry that. Aerial footage will.

The lough does the selling, so show it

When a home looks towards Scrabo Tower, Rough Island and upper Strangford Lough, the job is to place the house in that landscape, not crop it out. We plan drone work around the light and the tide, and we film the approach, the acreage and the water so a buyer understands the lifestyle before they ever read the spec.

A package built for homes like these

For a country or coastal listing on the peninsula we rarely send a single camera. The homes that perform best on PropertyPal and PropertyNews tend to be marketed as a complete package:

  • Aerial and drone work to show the position, the land and the proximity to the water, the detail no ground shot can capture. See our aerial photography.
  • Cinematic and agent-led video that walks a buyer through the home and the lifestyle around it. See our property video tours.
  • Lifestyle film that connects the interiors to the landscape beyond the glazing, for the buyer relocating to the lough.

Out on the peninsula, in most weather

We know this stretch of Co Down because we keep being asked back to it, from Comber and Newtownards out along the loughshore to Greyabbey. We have filmed coastal and country homes here for Simon Brien Residential and Ulster Property Sales, and we get the drone up in conditions most would not, including a Greyabbey loughshore film captured in 30 mph winds.
