Three Luxury Homes at Dusk, and a Song Stuck in Our Heads

Some shoots stick with you. This one arrived on the back of an ordinary evening: picking my daughter up from Drums, the two of us singing “I’m Just Ken” the whole way home. (Honestly, a bit of a guilty pleasure.) That song was rattling round my head for the entire shoot, and somehow it suited the mood. There is something quietly joyful about being trusted to film three luxury homes as the light starts to drop.

Dusk is the hardest part of the day to get right and the most rewarding when you do. We brought both drone and ground crews to capture this development properly, the aerial work placing each home in its setting while the interiors began to glow against the fading sky. Three stunning homes, one narrow window of light, and only one team to do it justice.
